Title of the lecture: Performance analysis of IEEE 802.15.4 communication networks
Abstract: This work focuses on the performance analysis of parallel bidirectional periodic peer-to-peer communication using IEEE 802.15.4 communication. The measurements prove that the IEEE 802.15.4 standard provides a wireless communication mechanism which can be used for high frequency periodic bidirectional communication also in the presence of reduced or regular competitive parallel traffic, which can be used for closed loop control for example. Based on the measurements we propose a data transmission technique that increases the throughput and the stability of the system as a whole.

Title of the lecture: Waggle Dance Based Routing in Wireless Sensor Networks
Abstract: Failure immunity, low energy consumption, continuous adaptability to the environment changes are requirements to the wireless sensor networks (WSN) which necessitate complex analysis to give optimal answer. The experience in practice shows that low energy consumption for communication and processing at the mote level of the IoT networks can be realized using mechanisms of the biological races living in swarm populations. This work is an overview of the communication aspects of the swarm populations and presents characteristic examples of the routing mechanisms developed for WSN systems based on swarm intelligence.
